What is the Newsletter?

The Porlock Vale Newsletter is a non-profit making, A5-sized publication that is financed by the sale of advertising space, the face value of the newsletter and from the subscriptions of postal readers.

Content is varied and includes news from local groups and organisations, letters plus plenty of useful information.

When is it issued?

It is issued four times a year to correspond roughly with the seasons. The deadlines for submission of material are:-

Spring: February 17th
Summer: May 17th
Autumn: August 17th
Winter: November 17th

Where can I get It?

The newsletter is distributed locally throughout Porlock Vale and can be purchased from any of the following outlets:-

Porlock Post Office, Porlock Hardware, Porlock Pharmacy, The Gift and Candy Shop and Porlock Visitor Centre.

Subscribe to the Newsletter

Subscribers are welcomed from anywhere within the UK.

Subscriptions are £4.50 for four issues.

Advertising rates per annum are currently:-

Small advert (1/10th page): £7.50
Double advert (1/5th page): £15.00
Large advert (1/2 page): £37.50
Very large advert (full page): £75.00
