Each year this picturesque Somerset village, set in the stunning scenery of Exmoor National Park, hosts a four-day Arts Festival.
This year’s Festival caters for all tastes and ages. Authors appearing include Dame Margaret Drabble, Valerie Grove, Sir Christopher Ondaatje and Rose Tremain, winner of the 2008 Orange fiction award. Other events include jazz; discussions with media personalities; poets’ picnic; special museum event; young children’s play; open craft studios; talks on pottery and puppets; walks; an art exhibition; and Short Story and Limerick Competitions.
